When I was a kid, my superpower was asking too many questions.

Why is the sky blue? Why do we sleep? Why can=E2=80=99t I have pizza for br=
eakfast? I must have been insufferable.

Then I grew up, went to school, and somewhere between standardized tests an=
d adulthood, that curiosity started fading. I stopped asking =E2=80=9Cwhy=
=E2=80=9D and started asking =E2=80=9Cwhat=E2=80=99s on Netflix?=E2=80=9D

But here=E2=80=99s the thing: curiosity isn=E2=80=99t childish. It=E2=80=99=
s the engine of learning. And the good news is, you can turn it back on.

d topic, a new idea in a book, or a weird fact I want to verify.

I watched a documentary on how mushrooms communicate, read about why cats p=
urr, and ended up learning about ancient shipbuilding.

By the end of the week, my brain felt alive again. And strangely, the stuff=
 I learned seemed to connect back to my regular work in creative ways.

Curiosity doesn=E2=80=99t just make you smarter. It makes you more intercon=
nected.

### **The Bigger Lesson: Curiosity Isn=E2=80=99t Optional**

Curiosity isn=E2=80=99t just a nice personality trait. It=E2=80=99s your br=
ain=E2=80=99s natural learning engine. It powers motivation, focus, and mem=
ory.

When you nurture it, you turn learning from a grind into a game.

So stop waiting for curiosity to strike. Go looking for it. Feed it questio=
