ear 1 Foundations Each year, the Success-Ready Students Network (SRSN) enth=
usiastically hosts the Personalized Competency-Based Learning (PCBL) Master=
 Teacher Cadre (MTC) =E2=80=94 a professional learning experience designed =
to empower Missouri educators to transform teaching and learning. The MTC Y=
ear 1 Foundations program equips participants with the knowledge and skills=
 to master PCBL through a dynamic blend of in-person and virtual sessions t=
hroughout 2026. Throughout the year, participants will: Deepen their unders=
tanding of Personalized Competency-Based Learning and its impact on student=
 success Learn how to design powerful, student-centered learning environmen=
ts Build a collaborative network of educators committed to reimagining lear=

nd Deep Dive session on October 29 as a follow-up to our September Communit=
y Session. Nate McClellan and Shawnee Caruthers from Getting Smart will be =
sharing some unique RWL opportunities. This session will be focused on Clie=
nt Connected Projects, especially those on civic engagement and museums. Yo=
u will be surprised at ways you can bring unique opportunities to students =
through these types of partnerships found in even the smallest of communiti=
es. This session is FREE, thank you DESE, but does require registration on =
the SRSN website. Work Group Updates SRSN members in SDZ 1-4 cohorts have d=
istrict/organization representatives that participate on various work group=
s to help move the work of the network forward. The goal in sharing in the =
below recent meeting summaries of these groups is to help keep all members =
of the SRSN informed and on the same page. Dashboard Work Group The Dashboa=
rd Work Group will meet Thursday 11/6/25. Districts will study the efficacy=
 of their individual dashboards with a focus on data and supporting narrati=
ve and Dashboard best practices. A summary will be provided after this meet=
ing. =E2=80=8A Assessment & Accountability Work Group The Assessment and Ac=
countability Work Group has a regularly scheduled meeting on Nov. 5, 2025 f=
rom 1:00-1:50 pm. A special meeting in support refining measures for the Sy=
stem Design Zone is scheduled for Wed. Oct. 22, 2025 from 1:00-3:00 pm. Wor=
k product from this meeting support the System Design Work Group at their N=
ov. 5, 2025 meeting. Summaries will be shared following the meeting dates. =
      =E2=80=8A System Design Work Group The System Design Group an interdi=
sciplinary group of volunteers composed of SDZ 1, 2, 3 and 4 (second year o=
nly) members who meet Sept - Nov. 2025 to define how qualities of the Succe=
ss-Ready Students Continuous Improvement System (S-RSCIS) and required MSIP=
 6 indicators interact to determine an LEAs accreditation status. At the Oc=
t. 15, 2025 meeting the group continued work on measuring and reporting sys=
tem for school districts, with discussions around data verification, color-=
coded performance indicators, and external reviews of district performance.=
 The group explored a model for evaluating student performance and school i=
mprovement, addressing challenges in measuring student growth and performan=
ce across different grade levels while considering existing accountability =
frameworks. The conversation ended with discussions about ICAP and MVAs, in=
cluding classification models, dashboard designs, and plans for future meet=
ings to finalize documents for a statewide meeting. Refining our approach t=
o measuring performance identify elements for an alternative APR engaged in=
 how to measure and report those elements for purposes of Accreditation. As=
 next steps, the group agreed to meet again on Nov. 5, 2024 from 2-4 pm to =
finalize the design with the AAWG working on refining metrics prior to the =
meeting. =E2=80=8A Communications Work Group The Communications Work Group =
will not meet in October 2025. Sub-committees are working on edits to the C=
ommunications Toolkit. Updates will be shared through email regarding Commu=

deepen their work within the Success-Ready Students Continuous Improvement =

e meaningful student outcomes The role of the Descriptive Dashboard in capt=
uring and communicating progress The alignment between the Continuous Impro=
vement Framework and each district=E2=80=99s CSIP And most importantly, how=

explored a model for evaluating student performance and school improvement,=
 addressing challenges in measuring student growth and performance across d=
ifferent grade levels while considering existing accountability frameworks.=
 The conversation ended with discussions about ICAP and MVAs, including cla=
ssification models, dashboard designs, and plans for future meetings to fin=
alize documents for a statewide meeting. Refining our approach to measuring=
 performance identify elements for an alternative APR engaged in how to mea=
sure and report those elements for purposes of Accreditation. </span></p>
